On Wednesday 31st January 2024, our school was blessed with a visit from the Icon of ‘Jesus the High Priest’, gifted to us for the day by the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle.
The icon is a source of inspiration regarding vocations and students had the opportunity in our school chapel to explore the symbolism and iconography of this powerful icon.
Students were beautifully respectful, asked thought-provoking questions and explored the topic of vocation with respect and enthusiasm.
