Every Advent students and staff across the school work hard in tutor groups to create care parcels for the elderly, sick and housebound in our parish. We work with the Saint Vincent de Paul society to create these gifts boxes which are a small symbol of our love and care for those in need in our local parish community.
This year, we have created 26 care parcels and this morning we took students out in the parish and to care homes to deliver these gifts and to bring joy and light to all those in our community this Advent. Students had a fabulous time with Chaplain Adam and Mrs. McEwan sharing our love with those in our community and loved meeting fascinating parishioners, hearing their stories and spreading some St. Joseph’s festive cheer.
