Improtech

What is the Improtech Soccer Elite Academy?

The Improtech Soccer Elite Academy is a unique 5 year ‘Education with Football’ programme for boys & girls. Students receive up to 10 hours per week of expert football coaching, spread over 5 school days.

Developed by our UEFA Pro Licence Director of Football, this high-level coaching provision is part of our groundbreaking syllabus that aims to deliver the best possible football development programme within a secondary school environment.

Capitalising on optimal training times during the school day, training sessions will take place before, during and after school, thus allowing for a balanced timetable over the course of the academic week. Core subjects are not affected and although there is some displacement of other non -core subjects.

The Elite Academy has a dedicated Lead Coach who will oversee the entire school football programme. They are supported by a team of expert coaching staff, giving every Improtech Soccer student the best opportunity to develop in a dynamic and progressive player centred environment alongside a high-quality education.

This unique programme is completely free and will remain so for the duration of your child’s secondary school education. All Elite Academy players are free to continue playing with their respective grassroots teams or professional club academies.

How to enrol on the Improtech Soccer Elite Academy programme.

If your child would like to join one of our Elite Academy Secondary Schools, you must first register interest on their behalf via our Web Enrolment Form: https://www.improtechsoccer.com/enrol/

Once you have submitted your interest, our recruitment team will be in touch with further information and trial dates.  All prospective Elite Academy players must follow this trial process.

All successful trialists who are offered an Elite Academy place are also required to apply for a place at the school via the council’s secondary school application process. For a player to take up their Elite Academy place, they must have been successful in gaining a place at the school via this official route.

An offer of a place at the Football Academy does not guarantee your child a place at the school.

Our experienced staff will be on hand to offer assistance throughout this process.

What to expect from the Elite Academy.

The Elite Academy syllabus was created by our FIFA Pro Licence Director of Football and is a comprehensive 5-year learning journey designed to produce technically proficient, intelligent footballers.

Our coaching staff include ex-professional players, highly qualified coaches and other influential and experienced football industry personnel, who will be there to guide your child every step of this exciting journey.
